How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been a Special Olympics athlete for 17 years.

How did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

When I was 12 years old I signed up for bowling with Special Olympics.

What is a challenge or barrier that you have overcome?

My biggest challenge has been learning new skill and dialogue.

What has been your favourite memory with Special Olympics?

I won gold in the 1k and sliver in the 500m and 2.5k I felt good performing my best!

What does being part of Special Olympics Team Canada mean to you and what is your goal for Turin?

I’m honoured to be a member of Team Canada 2025. My goal is to win a gold or sliver medals.

What do you want people to know about athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities?

Cross country skiers are good people who know me well.
