How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I started when I was12 years old and now I am 40 years old!

How did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

Special Olympics has changed my life big time!

What is a challenge or barrier that you have overcome?

I have learned that music helps me a lot.

What has been your favourite memory with Special Olympics?

Meet new friends and coaches.

What has participating in Special Olympics taught you?

Participating in Special Olympics has taught me how to talk to people at work. I am now incredibly more comfortable talking to people.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team Canada mean to you and what is your goal for Turin?

My goal for Turin is to have fun and meet new friends.

What would you say to someone thinking of getting involved in Special Olympics?

It’s lots of fun and you could have the opportunity to travel the world!
