Resilience isn’t just a mindset—it’s a muscle. One that’s tested, stretched, and strengthened through every challenge faced, every setback overcome, and every moment of perseverance.

For Special Olympics Team Canada athletes Jonathan Henry and Jessica Larivée,  resilience is a muscle they've been training their whole lives. Jonathan, a speed skater, and Jessica, an alpine skier, have each faced hardships—both mental and physical—that could have derailed their passion for sport. But instead, they’ve used those challenges to fuel their drive, carving their own paths toward success.

Through Special Olympics, they’ve found a space to push limits, build confidence, and prove—time and time again—that they are stronger than any obstacle in their way.
